Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Advance Planning Briefing

The Special Notice announces the 2025 Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) Advance Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI), scheduled for April 22-24, 2025, hosted by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Army Contracting Command Aberdeen Proving Ground. This unclassified event will be held at Myer Auditorium and conducted in a hybrid format, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options via MS Teams. The briefing is designed to provide industry stakeholders with insights into potential contracting opportunities for Fiscal Years 2026-2027 across various Army organizations and commands. Presentation slides will be electronically posted approximately two weeks prior to the event, offering a preview of upcoming government needs and strategic initiatives. The event represents a critical platform for fostering collaboration between government and industry partners.

Contractors, businesses, academia, and government stakeholders are invited to participate in this informational event, with no formal bids being accepted during the briefing. In-person attendees must complete a no-fee registration, which will be available in early April 2025, while virtual attendees can join without pre-registration. The APBI will feature contract opportunity briefings, small business highlights, and potentially special interest sessions across multiple Army program offices, including Communications-Electronics Command, Army Research Laboratory, Program Executive Offices, and Combat Capabilities Development Command. The event aims to help industry better understand Army capability requirements and shape internal development efforts, with opportunities spanning various domains such as intelligence, electronic warfare, cybersecurity, logistics, and technical support services. Specific contract opportunities discussed may include Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contracts, and research and development initiatives, with estimated values ranging from $20 million to $950 million across different programs.
