Universal Solutions International Inc. (USI), a trusted leader in technology development, is excited to announce a new partnership with the Army Futures Command’s Aviation & Missile Center to lead the development of next generation energy storage devices. This project, valued at over $8 million and set to span three years, is part of an Aviation & Missile Technology Consortium (AMTC) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) contract aimed at creating advanced, safe, and highly efficient energy solutions that will power military platforms with greater reliability and performance.
The primary goal of this OTA is to design, build, test, and refine prototype energy storage devices that meet and exceed the capabilities of current state-of-the-art technologies. These prototypes are being developed to ensure they are safer and more effective than any existing options currently used by the Army Futures Command’s Aviation & Missile Center, offering significant improvements in energy storage and conversion technology.
